Objectives:

1. Students will demonstrate understanding of what colleges are looking for, and what they are not looking for in candidates, and in the essays they submit.

2. Students will understand the college application process, and create concrete an actionable timeline for completing this process.

3. Students will learn to identify common errors typically made in essay preparation and how they can avoid making similar errors.

4. Students will review typical college essay questions and craft a unique, strong personalized essay to demonstrate the successful process of college essay writing.

5. Students will identify the benefits and challenges of each college testing option, as well as the resources available to them to assist in preparation for their college entrance exams.
